Summer Road Trip Tips + Spotify Playlist

The days are getting longer and summer is calling our names - to us, nothing says summer more than the perfect road trip. We've rounded up four tips to make sure you make the most of your summer adventures, no matter where the road takes you.
Stock Up On Fuel
We don’t just mean for your car (but that’s pretty important too…) - make sure you stock up on your favorite snacks before hitting the road. Whether that means picking up a dozen donuts or raiding the junk food aisle of your neighborhood corner store, make sure you plan accordingly. The last thing you want is to end up in the middle of nowhere with no good snack options (or gas stations) for miles.
Surround Yourself with Good Company
Good company is the key to a successful road trip. It doesn’t matter if you grab your best friends, your brother, or your dog, as long as you can exist in a confined space together for an extended length of time without hating each other. Friends don’t let friends take road trips alone.
Take Your Time
Road trips aren’t all about the destination - getting there is part of the fun, so don’t rush it! Drive through some small towns, pull off at weird roadside attractions, and stop to take photos when Mother Nature is putting on a show. It might add extra time to your trip, but we promise it will be worth it.
Have the Right Tunes
A road trip without a stellar playlist is not a road trip you want to be on - trust us. One of the best parts of being in the car for hours is singing at the top of your lungs no matter how bad your voice is.
